1. Who we are

NitiAssist AI is a product of Praxeum Intelligence Private Limited, a privately held company registered in Telangana, India. We license software to government departments. We are not owned, funded or controlled by any government body.

2. What NitiAssist AI is, and is not

NitiAssist AI is a drafting and verification tool. It does not adjudicate, decide, or exercise any authority. It is operated by an adjudicator who remains the adjudicating authority under the relevant statute, and who remains responsible for every decision, every signature, and every data-handling choice made with the tool.

The tool reads the record placed before it, structures the case, drafts text for the adjudicator’s review, and verifies citations. What is signed is the adjudicator’s order, made in the adjudicator’s discretion, within the adjudicator’s own authority.

3. Data on this website

The website is informational. It does not offer user accounts and does not use advertising trackers.

• If you write to us, we keep your email address and message in order to reply and for our records.
• We may use privacy-preserving, aggregated performance and traffic measurement provided by our hosting platform. It does not identify you individually.
• Fonts and assets are served from our own domain; no third-party font service is called when you visit.

4. Data inside the product

The product is used by adjudicators of a department under a licence agreement with that department. The case files an adjudicator places into the product (such as show cause notices, replies and annexures) may contain personal data of taxpayers and other persons.

• Case files are processed and stored in India, within the department’s own deployment.
• Where a department opts in to the NitiAssist AI Anonymize add-on, identities in case files are replaced with tokens before analysis, and the mapping from tokens back to real identities never leaves the department’s machine.
• Case files are not used to train our models.
• Access is role-based and every action is logged, so the department can audit who generated, edited or approved each section of a draft.

The allocation of roles under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for case-file data, including which party acts as Data Fiduciary and which as Data Processor, and the responsibilities of the department and the adjudicator as the parties in control of the proceedings, is set out in the department’s licence agreement and the accompanying data-processing terms.

5. Our posture under the DPDP Act

NitiAssist AI is built to be aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: data minimisation, purpose limitation, access control, logging and retention are designed in rather than added later. A third-party DPDP-alignment audit is planned. We do not describe ourselves as certified, and will not, until an accredited third party has issued a certificate.

6. Retention

Website correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for our own records. Product data is retained in accordance with the licence agreement with the department and the department’s own retention rules, and is deleted on the department’s direction in the manner set out in that agreement.

7. Your rights and how to reach us

If you have written to us and wish your correspondence to be deleted or corrected, write to contact@nitiassistai.com. For personal data contained in case files, requests are directed to the department concerned, which controls the proceedings and is the appropriate party to act on such requests.
